All I know is I like a nice approachable color like blue and to be able to hold my knives a bunch of different ways, and the baby banter is stellar in those regards)

The machine cuts (or jimping) along the lower inside and upper outside edges of the handle and the lower top edge of the blade add just the right amount of traction to an otherwise almost-too-smooth grip. When open, the "flipper" lever rotates around to become the perfect finger stop at the top of the already nicely contoured handle. It fits MY hand very well.

Crkt squid, to heavy for my liking with the full steel handle scales, but there should be lighter aftermarket ones, again a small blade, good for EDC/office, but very annoying to use for anything outdoors.

Civivi Baby banter, its small, useful, not too expensive or threatening, comes in loads of colors and if you get one with a dlc coated blade it also wont really rust.

So, yeah, there are better knives. There are bigger knives. There are better looking, more elegant knives. But for what you pay for it, and what you get in terms of design and build quality, this is a great value

This knife is solid and feels solid in the hand. The handle does not bend or flex when pressure is applied (and I squeezed it almost as hard as I could to check it).

Kershaw Cryo 2 was my first EDC blade. It’s an excellent choice. Cheap but tough as nails. Can’t go wrong with it
